Microsoft PowerPoint, Intermediate

This hands-on class covers the advanced features and information needed to more effectively create or collaborate on complex presentations. It is designed for anyone who already has a strong foundational knowledge of PowerPoint and wishes to develop greater proficiency and mastery.

Class format will provide time for the instructor to recommend best practices, explain new concepts, introduce shortcuts, and answer questions. Participants will have time to apply new skills to real-world scenarios. Topics include:

Prerequisite: PowerPoint Fundamentals or equivalent knowledge

  • Customizing Design Templates

  • Modifying Slide Masters and Slide Layouts

  • Modifying the Notes Master and the Handout Master

  • Adding Headers and Footers

  • Creating & formatting a Table

  • Inserting a Table from other Microsoft Office Applications

  • Creating & Formatting a Chart

  • Inserting a Chart from Microsoft Excel

  • Working with Media

  • Adding Audio to a Presentation

  • Adding Video to a Presentation

  • Adding a Screen Recording

  • Building Advanced Transitions and Animations

  • Using the Morph Transition

  • Customizing Animations

  • Reviewing & Finalizing a Presentation

  • Enhancing a Live Presentation

  • Recording a Presentation

  • Setting Up a Slide Show

  • Modifying Presentation Navigation

  • Dividing a Presentation into Sections

Fee

Members: $308 per person
Non-members: $433 per person

Attendance

Registered participants who fail to attend a class ('no-shows') will be charged full class cost. The 'no-show' fee may not be used as a credit for another EN class, or other type of event or service.

Cancellations made less than 10 business days prior to start of class will be charged full class cost. The charge may not be used as a credit for another EN class. or other type of event or service however, substitutions are welcome.
