Virtual: building a positive virtual workforce community
Managing people has changed significantly these past few years. We have virtual, hybrid, and in-office employees. We now need to communicate using MS Teams and Zoom as our primary or only form of communication. Then there's the whole challenge of building engagement and creating a healthy work culture. Is it any wonder that people who manage people feel overwhelmed and not supported.
It's time we revisit and update our definition and expectation for a positive workforce community. We need to redefine the components of a work environment that adjust for a virtual environment. This class will help you to step back, identify the false assumptions that govern our workplace norms, and decide on a better direction for your team. To accomplish this goal, we need different tools, a different strategy, and a different approach to a very different challenge than we had to face in the past. Come learn how you have the power to improve how people feel about their team, their role, and their company.
