Supervisor’s Guide to HR Best Practices

All supervisors and managers play a crucial role in implementing and upholding human resource (HR) best practices. This class is designed to equip those not in human resources with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate HR challenges effectively while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Participants will look into multiple HR areas such as interviewing and what questions they can and cannot ask legally, employee leave, performance management, employee relations, legal compliance in multiple areas, disciplinary action and more. This class will combine interactive lectures, case studies, group discussions and even role play to learn effective management techniques that comply with HR laws and policy guidelines.

Participants will be given a comprehensive guide to understand their responsibility in effectively managing employees and mitigating HR risks.
